But is it true in reality?
I have always known that I feel better and more rested only if I change places: go to another city, to another region, away from my daily life. These were trips to discover different cities more than anything else. At most, I could spend the holiday at the seaside, but not on an excursion with a backpack on my shoulders.
The joy of movement during long walks and discovering the secrets of the land where I live, I only knew with the advent of a computer in my house. I have a bad habit of spending whole days and nights in front of the computer. It's terrible, I understand it.
Later, I went through a period of great stress. The possibility of detaching myself from an environment where there was no escape from negativity saved my skin.
On the other hand, I am a person who categorically rejects any type of sport. I tried to sign up for a gym, which was also well-equipped with a spa, but there was nothing to be done with me. Hiking is my salvation because it is a complete physical activity.
As far as health is concerned, I believe that walks in nature are good. I knew two men who were obese. Looking at them, you would think that they don't have much time left to live. I later learned that they had taken up hiking. I then saw their photos on their peaks and could only recognize one of them when I read his name. I've never seen him weigh less than 200 kilos before.
