May marked a special milestone for this newsletter — a sort of birthday! It’s been a journey through 100 posts celebrating my hiking adventures across Italy, sharing its rich history, the wonderful people I’ve met, and the simple joys of life along the way.
For the past hundred weeks, I’ve poured my thoughts into these pages almost every week, with a few breaks when health challenges arose. As I age, I understand that some things, like health, need a little extra care, but my passion for sharing remains strong.
Today, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Michael Glenn. He has been my only paid subscriber for the past two years, and I feel a deep sense of responsibility to continue writing for him. Knowing I can meet his expectations inspires me to keep this newsletter alive.
